Fresno State will host its final nonconference match of the season on Wednesday as No. 38 Oregon comes to Fresno. Doubles play is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. PT with singles to follow.
Looking at the matchup:
- Fresno State heads into Wednesday's dual match with a 10-6 record after rattling off six straight wins dating back to March 5. Oregon is 9-6 on the year and enters the match winning four of its last five matches.
- Oregon boasts a pair of nationally-ranked doubles teams in No. 48 Alyssa Tobita and Shweta Sangwan, and No. 66 Julia Eshet and Marlou Kluiving.
- The Ducks are 4-4 away from Eugene, Ore., this season while Fresno State is 5-0 at home.
- The Bulldogs are 39-2 at home since head coach Ryan Stotland took over the program prior to the 2012-13 season. The program's last home loss came on Feb. 21, 2015 to No. 39 Wichita State. The 'Dogs have since won 18 straight matches at Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center.
- Fresno State is 7-1 against ranked opponents at home under Stotland.
- With just one senior on this year's team, underclassmen account for just under 90 percent of the Fresno State's singles wins this season. The freshman class alone has accounted for 67 percent of the team's wins.
- Freshman Katerina Stloukalova leads the Bulldogs with 20 wins on the year while fellow freshman Juliane Triebe is one back at 19. Triebe holds the team's top record in dual matches at 11-4.
