FRESNO, Calif. – Senior Lindsey Willmon hit a three-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the sixth to cap off Fresno State Softball's 9-1 victory over Nevada on Friday night at Margie Wright Diamond. This was the Bulldogs' seventh straight win against the Wolf Pack.

Senior Kierra Willis became Fresno State's all-time walks leader after taking two free passes in the game and now has 116 in her career.
Nevada senior McKenna Isenberg (9-8, 3.93 ERA) took the loss for the Wolf Pack, allowing all nine runs while striking out eight batters of her own.

How it happened
The Bulldogs got things started in the bottom of the first when Rivers singled up the middle and Willis hit her home with an RBI-double to left center. Willmon came up to the plate and hit a single through the left side, which advanced Willis to third, who then scored on a wild pitch. Hernandez then hit an RBI-single to score Willmon and gave the 'Dogs a 3-0 lead.
Junior Katie Castellon led off the second with a walk and Rivers reached on an infield single, but the 'Dogs couldn't put another run on the board. In the third, Hernandez and Broussard took two-out free passes, but were also left stranded.
The Wolf Pack recorded their first hit of the game with one out in the fourth when Erika Hansen singled to center. Kenzie Goins was walked and Nikki Orozco hit a single up the middle, attempting to bring Hansen home, but she was thrown out at the plate by Hernandez. Goins then scored on a wild pitch to put Nevada's first run on the board and the Bulldogs held a 3-1 lead heading into the bottom of the fourth.
McHellon then came up to the plate in the fourth with freshman Miranda Rohleder and Willis on base and hit her seventh home run of the season to give the Bulldogs a 6-1 lead. Willis' walk to get on base broke the Fresno State program record for career walks.
Hernandez led off the bottom of the fifth with her second walk of the game, but the Bulldogs couldn't bring her home.
