The Bulldogs hit the field for their sixth spring practice on Wednesday
Â
As the Bulldogs near the midway point of spring football, the team continues to focus on laying the foundation for the program.
Â
"Our goal all the time is to be the best at everything we do," said assistant coach for the linebackers Bert Watts. "As players, as people, as students, it all starts there. As far as the spring goes, we want to make sure we are taking it day-by-day, and get better every single day. We want to make sure we're taking something every single day and improving on it. So that once we get to the end of those 15 practices, we've got something built, something that's going to take us in the trajectory that we want to go."
Â
The 'Dogs will take the field once more on Friday before taking a hiatus for spring break, April 10-14. The team returns for practice No. 8 on Monday, April 17, and will be full-go from that point forward leading up to the Spring Preview, April 29.
