SAN DIEGO – The Fresno State men's tennis team defeated Mountain West foe San Diego State 4-0 Friday night, to improve to 3-0 in conference play.
'Dogs earn the doubles point
Fresno State earned wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to clinch the doubles point.
The Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead into singles.
'Dogs dominate in singles
Mantas Bugailiskis defeated his opponent 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 5 position to give Fresno State a 2-0 lead.
The Bulldogs extended their lead to 3-0 when Euan McIntosh bested his opponent at the No. 2 position 6-2, 6-3.
The match was clinched at the No. 3 position when Zdenek Derkas defeated his opponent 6-4, 6-3.
