Sights and Sounds from the 'Dogs first day back in shoulder pads
Fresno, Calif. - Thursday marked the Fresno State football team's first time in shoulder pads as the 'Dogs work their way through the first week of fall camp.
"It was nice to have it a little more like real football today, to see some pad level and see some fundamentals of football, which is a little more realistic with some shoulder pads on," said head coach Jeff Tedford.
Fresno State will practice in shells (shoulder pads and helmets) on Friday and Saturday before its first full-padded practice on Sunday.

Stand alone quote: "Everyday is a learning experience because more things go in every single day, but the one thing that should stay consistent is our hustle, our attitude and our effort."Â
Offensive Coordinator Kalen DeBoer
Stand alone quote: "There's not a position right now where there isn't some competition. For at least one spot. It's another reason why there's some urgency to do things right and to do a better job."Â
