Fresno State Football announces Inaugural Kickoff Dinner

Fans are invited to join the Fresno State football team for the Inaugural Kickoff Dinner on Aug. 24.
FRESNO, Calif. – The Bulldog Foundation will host the Inaugural Kickoff Dinner on Thursday, Aug. 24 to support the Fresno State football team at 6 p.m. The fun-filled night will be held at the Clovis Veteran's Memorial Ballroom.

"I'd like to invite everyone to join us as we are very excited about our event to kick-off the season and to have the opportunity for the fans to engage in the Red Wave spirit for the 2017 season, said head coach Jeff Tedford. "Let's come together to capture the pride and tradition of Bulldog football and let the team know how fired up we all are for the 2017 campaign."

The Kickoff Dinner is an event to honor the Fresno State football team before the start of its season. The evening begins with a cocktail hour and silent auction at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and a live auction at 7 p.m.

The fans in attendance will have the unique opportunity to not only spend the evening with 2017 Fresno State football team and coaching staff, but to start a new tradition.
Â
Former Fresno State football standout and NFL alumni, Cameron Worrell, will serve as the master of ceremonies during the event.

The dinner will be highlighted with special appearances from the Fresno State spirit team, band and Timeout.
Â
The silent auction during the cocktail hour will include signed NFL memorabilia and special packages from local businesses.

The live auctioneer for the evening will be Paul Loeffler. Loeffler is the radio voice of the Fresno State football, men's basketball and baseball. The live auction will feature an exclusive Super Bowl LII package and a once in a lifetime opportunity to shadow Coach Tedford through a home game this season from start to finish.

All proceeds from the event will go to support the Football Fund for Excellence, to support the current needs of the program such as technological advances, meals and nutrition, recruiting support and facility needs.

The Inaugural Fresno State Football Kickoff Dinner will cost $50 per person, $1,000 per sponsor table and $2,500 title sponsor table.
