Bulldogs in the NFL: Preseason Week 4

FRESNO, Calif. - With the fourth and final week of the NFL preseason in the books, here are how the 14 former 'Dogs on NFL training camp rosters fared as teams have until 1 p.m. PT on Saturday to trim their rosters to 53 players for Week 1.

WR Davante Adams (Green Bay Packers): Adams did not play in the Packers' final preseason game, a 24-10 win at home over the Los Angeles Rams, on Thursday night. The Packers open up the regular season on Sept. 10 at home against Seattle at 1:25 p.m. PT.

WR Isaiah Burse (Los Angeles Chargers): Burse missed the Chargers' final preseason game, a 23-13 loss at the San Francisco 49ers, with a concussion and will look to compete for a roster spot for the regular season opener at the Denver Broncos on Sept. 11 at 7:20 p.m. PT.

QB Derek Carr (Oakland Raiders): Carr, who will have his #4 jersey retired at the Bulldogs season opener on Saturday vs. Incarnate Word, did not play in the Raiders' final preseason game on Thursday, a 17-13 loss at home to the Seattle Seahawks. The Raiders open up the season at the Tennessee Titans on Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. PT.

LB Chris Carter (Washington Redskins): Carter did not record any defensive statistics in the Redskins' final preseason contest, a 13-10 win at Tampa Bay. According to this 53-man roster projection by the Washington Post, Carter looks to be one of nine linebackers to make the Redskins roster. Washington hosts the Philadelphia Eagles on Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. PT to begin the regular season.

DT Tyeler Davison (New Orleans Saints): Davison did not record any defensive statistics in the Saints' 14-13 loss at home to the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday. The Saints open up the season at Minnesota on Sept. 11 at 4:10 p.m. PT.

DB Tyquwan Glass (Los Angeles Rams): Glass recorded one tackle in the Rams' 24-10 loss at Green Bay in his lone preseason action of the season. The Rams open up the regular season hosting the Indianapolis Colts on Sept. 10 at 1:05 p.m. PT.

OT Bryce Harris (New Orleans Saints): Harris played in the Saints' final preseason game as New Orleans gained 305 yards of offense passing for 202 yards and added 103 yards on the ground in a 14-13 loss at home to Baltimore. The Saints open up the season at Minnesota on Sept. 11 at 4:10 p.m. PT.

LB Ben Jacobs (Carolina Panthers): Jacobs tied for the third-most tackles on the Carolina Panthers making six stops, including one solo, in a 17-14 loss at home to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Panthers open up the season on Sept. 10 at the San Francisco 49ers at 1:25 p.m. PT.

TE Aaron Peck (Green Bay Packers): Peck made a pair of receptions for 27 yards, including a 25-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, in the Packers' final preseason game on Thursday. According to Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Gazette, it appears as if Peck was cut Friday afternoon, but as Fresno Bee writer Anthony Galaviz points out he could end up on the Green Bay practice squad.

Green Bay opens the season at home against the Seattle Seahawks on Sept. 10 at 1:25 p.m. PT.

CB Curtis Riley (Tennessee Titans): Riley did not play in the Titans' 30-6 loss at Kansas City on Thursday night. Tennessee hosts the Raiders on Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. PT to open the regular season.

DB Derron Smith (Cincinnati Bengals): Smith had a pair of tackles, including one solo, in the Bengals' 7-6 loss at the Colts on Thursday. Cincinnati hosts the Ravens on Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. PT to open the season.

DB Charles Washington (Detroit Lions): Washington made a team-high 10 tackles, including four solo, in the Lions' 27-17 loss at Buffalo in the final preseason game of the season. Washington is vying for one of the final roster spots for the Lions and will learn his fate on Saturday. Detroit opens the regular season at home hosting the Arizona Cardinals at 10 a.m. PT on Sept. 10.

Charles Washington

OL Cody Wichmann (Los Angeles Rams): Wichmann played along the offensive line in the Rams' 24-10 loss at Green Bay on Thursday, but looks to safely make the 53-man roster. Los Angeles opens up the regular season at home against the Colts on Sept. 10 at 1:05 p.m. PT.

OL Kenny Wiggins (Los Angeles Chargers): Wiggins did not play in the Chargers' preseason finale at the 49ers on Thursday as he enters the season as the starting right guard. Los Angeles opens the season at Denver on Sept. 11 at 7:20 p.m. PT.
