Four 'Dogs set to compete in Wildcat Invitational

TUCSON, Ariz. – The Fresno State men's tennis team opens up its fall season at the Wildcat Invitational hosted by Arizona at the Ventana Canyon Golf and Racquet Club, Sept. 22-24. Cagatay Soke, Jeremy Moser, Henrique Osorio and Bailey Gong will make the trip to Arizona for the Bulldogs.
Soke will make his Bulldog debut on Friday, after transferring from Texas A&M CC. The sophomore will compete in the Cardinal Singles Draw, facing the No. 1 seed Lorenzo Fucile of Grand Canyon University.
Osorio enters his second season as a Bulldog. He will compete in the Cardinal Singles Draw as the No. 5 seed, facing Sergi Espias of New Mexico State.Â
Moser enters his third season with Fresno State. He will compete in the Cardinal Singles Draw, facing the No. 3 seed Jan Kirchhoff of San Diego State.
Gong will begin his second season with the Bulldogs. He will compete in the White Singles Draw, facing No. 4 seed Harun Ajanovic of Northern Arizona University.
Soke and Moser will compete in the Cardinal Doubles Draw as the No. 3 seed. The Fresno State duo will have a first round bye, before facing the winner Arizona and Abilene Christian.
The singles rounds will begin at 8:30 a.m. PT, doubles rounds will follow.
