'Dogs finish day two of the Wildcat Invitational

TUCSON, Ariz. – The Fresno State men's tennis team finished day two of the Wildcat Invitational, with one Bulldog advancing to the championship round. Cagatay Soke, Jeremy Moser, Henrique Osorio and Bailey Gong made the trip to Arizona for the Bulldogs.
Moser defeated Valentine Lang of Grand Canyon University 6-7(4), 6-3, 7-6(3) to advance to the championship round of the Cardinal Singles round. He will face Trent Botha of Arizona on Sunday at 9 a.m. PT.
Gong fell in the White Singles Draw championship round Saturday morning 7-6 (5), 6-2 to Alejandro Rosas of New Mexico State.
Soke fell to Trent Botha of Arizona in the semifinals of the Cardinal Singles Draw 3-6, 6-3, 6-3. Soke will play in the consellation round fourth/fifth place match against Valentine Lang of GCU Sunday morning at 9 a.m. PT.
After falling in the quarterfinals, Osorio moved to the consolation bracket in the Cardinal Singles Draw. Osorio defeated Fellix Schumann of Northern Arizona University in the first consolation round. He will face Carlos Hassey of Arizona on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. PT.
In doubles, Soke and Moser were defeated in the semifinals of the Cardinal Doubles Draw by Fucile and Rajaonah of Grand Canyon University. Gong and Osorio fell in the semifinals of the Navy Doubles Draw to the eventual champions Asmar and Espias of New Mexico State.
