'Dogs host Bonnies on Tuesday

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State women's lacrosse team will host St. Bonaventure on Tuesday, Feb. 27 at 4 p.m. PT in the Soccer and Lacrosse Stadium.
Promotions – Tuesday night's game will celebrate Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night. At halftime, the student-athlete's 'Most Valuable Professors' will be honored. There will also be a Chevron T-Shirt toss at halftime. Admission and Parking to all Fresno State women's lacrosse games are free of charge.

SCOUTING THE BONNIES
St. Bonaventure is 0-3 this season, 0-1 on the road.
Last week – St. Bonaventure is coming off a 16-6 loss against Niagara University.
This season – The Bonnies' opponents have recorded more shots (110-59), goals (52-21) and ground balls (90-67). Midfielder Ashley Easterday leads the Bonnies this season with five goals, one assist, 18 shots, three ground balls and three caused turnovers.
QUICK LOOK AT THE 'DOGS
Fresno State is 2-2 this season, 1-1 at home.
Last week – Fresno State is coming off a 22-12 loss to Vanderbilt.
On offense, Tiffiny Wallace had a team-high three goals in the loss. Sarah Bloise notched two goals, two assists, one ground ball, one caused turnover and one draw control. On defense, Mackenzie Wallevand grabbed a season-high six draw controls.
This season – Fresno State has been outshot by its opponents (123-102) and has grabbed less draw controls (57-47).
On the attack, Bloise leads the 'Dogs with 11 goals this season. Bloise has also notched four assists, nine draw controls, three ground balls and two caused turnovers. Wallace and Ryleigh Bone have both scored seven goals for Fresno State this season.
On defense, Olivia Mannon leads the 'Dogs on the defensive side of the field with 20 draw controls, 15 caused turnovers and 11 ground balls. Mannon's 20 draw controls rank No. 20 in the NCAA, averaging five draw controls per game.Â
For the rookies, Wallevand has made a big impact to start her freshman season with six goals, three assists, 10 draw controls, three ground balls and two caused turnovers.
MPSF Players of the Week – Fresno State has had three conference weekly awards this season. Mannon, Wallevand and Laurel Maunder have all received accolades from the conference through Fresno State's first four games.

Fresno State finished the 2017 season 9-7(2-6 MPSF), the first winning season for the Bulldogs in program history. As a team, the 2017 squad broke 25 program records.

Fresno State returns 15 letterwinners, including nine starters. The Bulldogs reload their roster with 10 newcomers. Â

On offense, the Bulldogs return a key duo in Tiffiny Wallace and Sarah Bloise. The duo finished the 2017 season with a combined 83 goals, 37 assists 54 draw controls and 120 points.

On defense, the Bulldogs return another key duo in Abigail Bergevin and Alex Romanowski. The duo combined for 50 ground balls, 37 caused turnovers and nine draw controls.
In the box, Fresno State returns its starting goalie Laurel Maunder. Maunder finished the 2017 season with 136 saves, 25 ground balls and seven caused turnovers.
