Fresno State goes on a two-game East Coast road trip

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fresno State women's lacrosse team will go on a two-game road trip, facing Sacred Heart University on March 10 at 9 a.m. PT and Mount St. Mary's on March 12 at 12 p.m. PT.
QUICK LOOK AT THE 'DOGS
Fresno State is 3-2 this season, 1-0 on the road.
The Bulldogs are averaging 12.40 goals per game, 28.4 shots per game and 12.40 draw controls per game.Â
Last week – Fresno State had a 1-0 week, defeating St. Bonaventure 19-7 on Feb. 27. Tiffiny Wallace led the Bulldogs with a career-high six goals and eight points. On the defensive end, Olivia Mannon grabbed a team-high six draw controls and recorded two caused turnovers.
In terms of the MPSF – Fresno State leads the MPSF in saves per game (10.80), save percent (.474) and caused turnovers per game (12.60).
Sarah Bloise leads the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation in points (22), No. 2 in goals (14) and No. 2 in assists (8). Wallace is third in the conference in points (15) and goals (13). Mannon leads the MPSF in caused turnovers (17), ranks No. 2 in draw controls (26) and third in ground balls (12).
Nationally speaking – Fresno State is No. 7 in caused turnovers per game (12.60), No. 23 in free position shot percentage (.513) and No. 33 in ground balls per game (20.20).
Bloise is No. 5 in the nation in free position shots per game (2.00). Bloise also ranks No. 28 in free position shot percentage (.778), No. 29 in points (22), No. 39 in assists (8) and No. 43 in points per game (4.40).
Mannon is No. 3 in the nation in caused turnovers per game (3.40) and No. 41 in draw controls per game (5.20).

Sacred Heart is 0-4 this season, 0-1 at home.
The Pioneers are averaging 6.25 goals per game, 17. 5 shots and 10.00 draw controls.
Attacker Hanna Wise leads Sacred Heart with eight goals. Defender Dominique Anselmin leads the Pioneers on the defensive end with 12 draw controls and five caused turnovers.
The Pioneers were picked to finish fifth in the NEC preseason poll.
Last week – Sacred Heart is coming off an 11-8 loss to Quinnipiac on March 3. Wise and Alyssa Pearce led the Pioneers in the contest, each scoring two goals apiece.

Attacker Taylor Carhart leads the Mountaineers with 12 goals and two assists. Attacker Carly Miller has scored 11 goals and recorded seven assists on the season. Midfielder Beanie Colson has a team-high 30 draw controls.
Last week – Mount St. Mary's is coming off an 11-10 loss to Longwood on March 3. The Mountaineers had four players score multiple goals in the match.
