'Dogs host Aggies in Wednesday night matchup

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State women's lacrosse team returns home after five games on the road, hosting UC Davis on Wednesday, April 11 at 5 p.m. PT in the Soccer and Lacrosse Stadium.

QUICK LOOK AT THE 'DOGS
Fresno State is 9-5 this season, 2-2 at home.
Last week – Fresno State posted a 1-1 week, with a win over Cal and a loss to No. 13 Stanford. The Bulldogs edged out the Golden Bears 14-13 on the road, but came up short against the Cardinal 18-2.
Marina Mayo was named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Offensive Player of the Week. The sophomore led Fresno State to a 1-1 week, chalking a 14-13 win over Cal. The Park City, Utah native scored a career-high five goals on six shots in the hard-fought victory. Mayo also recorded one ground ball and was a perfect 1-1 in free position shots. The Bulldogs were down 7-4 at halftime, Mayo scored three consecutive goals to secure a 12-8 lead over the Bears going into the last 10 minutes of the contest.
The midfielder finished the week with two ground balls and two caused turnovers against No. 13 Stanford, on the road.
BULLDOG BITES
Tiffiny Wallace has also made a significant impact on Fresno State's offense with 31 goals and 15 assists.
Olivia Mannon leads the Bulldogs on defense with 64 draw controls, 29 ground balls and 24 caused turnovers.
In the goal, Laurel Maunder has recorded 106 saves and notched a .477 save percentage.
Nationally speaking – Three Bulldogs are ranked nationally in statistical categories.
Bloise ranks No. 5 in free position goals per game (1.43), No. 7 in free position shot percentage (.714) and No. 49 in total goals (36). Mannon ranks No. 32 in draw controls per game, averaging 5.33. Maunder is No. 26 in save percentage (.477) and No. 41 in total saves (106).

The Aggies are averaging 10.45 goals per game this season. UC Davis has been outscored (129-115) and grabbed less ground balls (237-217).
