'Dogs visit Aggies for regular season finale

DAVIS, Calif. – The Fresno State women's lacrosse team will travel to face Mountain Pacific Sports Federation foe UC Davis for its final regular season game, on Saturday, April 21 at 5 p.m. PT.
This matchup will determine seeding for the 2018 MPSF Playoffs. If the Bulldogs defeat the Aggies by five or more goals, Fresno State will be the No. 1 seed and get automatic spot in the championship game.

Fresno State is 9-7 (0-1 MPSF) this season, 7-2 on the road. The Bulldogs will attempt to snap their three-game losing skid against the Aggies to gain momentum going into MPSF Playoffs.
BULLDOG BONES
Sarah Bloise and Tiffiny Wallace lead the team on offense, the duo accounts for 74 goals this season. Bloise has a team-best 39 goals and 20 assists. She is No. 8 in the NCAA in free position goals per game (1.31) and No. 10 in free position percentage (0.677). Wallace has notched 35 goals and 16 assists on the season. The Bulldogs' defense is led by Abigail Bergevin and Hannah Krats. Bergevin has recorded 19 caused turnovers and 24 ground balls. Krats has chalked 18 caused turnovers, 28 ground balls and 35 draw controls. In the goal, Laurel Maunder has grabbed 129 saves. Maunder is No. 23 in save percentage (0.487) in the NCAA and No. 32 in total saves (129).
Last week – Fresno State is coming off a 0-2 week, with a 12-11 loss to UC Davis and a 15-11 loss to San Diego State.

The Aggies are averaging 10.58 goals per game and 12.9 draw controls per game. Taylor Cuenin leads UC Davis with 33 goals this season. Cuenin also has a team-best 20 caused turnovers. In the goal, Grace Richards has grabbed 99 saves and recorded a .448 save percentage.
