COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Mountain West announced on Friday that Fresno State senior Mimi Ho was named a second-team all-Mountain West selection. It is her first career all-conference nod.
"Mimi is well deserving of this honor," said head coach Emily Loftin. "She had an incredible senior campaign and I'm very happy she was recognized across our conference as a prominent player. This award showcases her dedication and leadership to this program and her game. I'm so proud of her efforts and she is even further marked as a storied player in our program."
During the 2017-18 season, Ho owned a 73.90 scoring average and claimed six top 20 finishes over 10 tournaments - both team bests. Ho's top finish during her senior season was a career-best runner-up finish at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown, Oct. 22-24, marking one of her three top 10 finishes this season. At the LVCS, Ho shot a low-round of 4-under-par 68 in the final round to propel her to her runner-up finish. It was one of nine rounds shot par or better during her 2017-18 campaign.
Ho most recently placed tied for 13th at the Mountain West Championships to conclude her Bulldog career, April 16-18.
In six seasons since joining the Mountain West (2012-13), the Bulldogs have had at least one all-conference selection each season and five-straight under Loftin's leadership.
