'Dogs set to face Bears on the road

BERKLEY, Calif. – The Fresno State women's lacrosse team will go on the road to face Cal on Friday, April 6 at 5 p.m. PT.

Fresno State is 8-4 this season, 6-1 on the road.
The Bulldogs are averaging 14.67 goals per game this season. Fresno State has owned the advantage over its opponents in goals (176-114), ground balls (236-205), draw controls (162-148) and caused turnovers (181-170).
Junior attacker Sarah Bloise leads the Bulldogs on offense with 33 goals, 15 assists, 48 points, 17 ground balls and 12 draw controls. On defense, Olivia Mannon owns a team-best 64 draw controls and 24 caused turnovers. In the goal, Laurel Maunder has recorded 88 saves and a .503 save percentage.
Nationally speaking – Bloise is No. 5 in free position goals per game (1.58), No. 5 in free position percentage (.760), No. 19 in total points (48) and No. 42 in total goals (33).

Last week – Fresno State posted a 2-0 week, with a 20-10 win over Presbyterian College and a 17-8 win over Radford. Bloise was named MPSF Offensive Player of the week for games played March 26 through April 1. She chalked six goals and four assists on the week. Bloise notched a team-high four goals and two assists in the 20-10 win over Presbyterian. She scored two goals and dished two assists in the 17-8 win over Radford.
