Osorio tabs CoSIDA Academic All-District honors

GREENWOOD. Ind. – Fresno State sophomore Henrique Osorio has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 First Team.
As one of three Mountain West student-athletes to earn CoSIDA Academic All-District honors, Osorio represented the Bulldogs with a 4.00 GPA as a Biology major at Fresno State. Osorio is the first Bulldog to earn CoSIDA Academic All-District honors since Fresno State standout Remi Boutllier earned the prestigious accolade in 2012.Â
This is the sophomore's second career academic honor, after being named to the spring 2017 All-Mountain West team.

The Portugal native competed in 15 dual matches for the Bulldogs this season. He chalked a 20-10 overall singles record, 12-3 dual record and a 2-1 record in conference play. Osorio also compiled a 3-1 doubles record in dual play.
The Bulldogs finished the 2018 season with a 19-12 (6-1 MW) record, placing second in the Mountain West for the regular season. Fresno State was the runner-up in the 2018 MW Men's Tennis Championships, after falling to Utah State in the championship match.
