FRESNO, Calif. – The Bulldog Foundation will host the Second Annual Kickoff Dinner on Thursday, Aug. 23 to support the Fresno State football team at 6 p.m. The fun-filled night will be held at the Fresno Convention Center.
Â
The evening begins with a social hour and silent auction at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and a live auction at 7:15 p.m.
Â
"We have high hopes to reach new heights in 2018 and the support we receive from the Red Wave is critical to our success and the pride and tradition of Bulldog football," said head coach Jeff Tedford. "I look forward to sharing an evening with our supporters alongside the great staff and student-athletes that represent Fresno State with class and integrity on and off the field.
"Please join us as we kick off the 2018 football season at our second annual football fundraiser and dinner."

"The tremendous support and energy of the Red Wave is legendary within the West Coast and the college football ranks and with that I am so proud to be a part of this community," said director of athletics Terry Tumey. "I cannot wait to see the support our amazing student-athletes and our football program receives from the Red Wave first-hand at the Kickoff Dinner. This will be the start of something special we're building together as we begin our 2018 campaign."
Â
Cameron Worrell, an alumnus of the Bulldog football program and 6-year NFL veteran, will serve as the master of ceremonies during the event. Later this fall, Worrell will start his fourth season as the sideline reporter on the home for Bulldog football, 940 AM ESPN radio.
