Bulldogs open 2019 campaign with doubleheader

DAVIS, Calif. – The Fresno State men's tennis team will kickoff its 2019 season with a doubleheader on Saturday, Jan. 12, the Bulldogs are set to face Pacific and UC Davis. Fresno State will start the day against Pacific at 12 p.m. PT, then UC Davis at 3:30 p.m. PT.

The Bulldogs return six letterwinners from last season. Fresno State has an ITA ranked doubles team in Mantas Bugailiskis and Cem Erturk, ranked the No. 46 team in the nation.

2018 – Fresno State finished the 2018 season with an overall record of 19-12 (6-1 MW). The Bulldogs were undefeated at home with a perfect 11-0 record. Fresno State finished the regular season in second place, earning the No. 2 seed in the 2018 Mountain West Championship. The Bulldogs made a run for the title before falling to No. 1 Utah State in the championship match 4-1.
