- Fresno State and San Jose State play for a rivalry trophy, called the Valley Trophy, which was introduced in 2013. Over that time frame, the two teams have split its meetings (3-3), but the Bulldogs have been in possession of the trophy back-to-back years.
- Fresno State will face San Jose State for the 83rd time in program history on Saturday. It is the longest running series the Bulldogs have, with the next longest being San Diego State having played for the 59th time earlier this year

- The 2019 Mountain West All-Conference teams will be announced on Wednesday, Dec. 4.Â
- It will consist of 28 first-team and 28 second-team players. There will be 12 offensive players by position, 12 defensive players by position, one place kicker, one punter, one punt returner and one kick returner on the first and second teams. There will also be five individual awards - Coach of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Special Teams Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year.Â
