Allison, Bell and Johnson invited to NFL Scouting Combine

FRESNO, Calif. – Until Thursday, it had been three years since a member of the Fresno State football team was invited to the annual NFL Scouting Combine. Among a list of 338 individuals seeking to fulfill childhood dreams, Bulldogs Jeff Allison, Mike Bell and KeeSean Johnson were announced as three of the individuals that will be heading to Indianapolis to participate in the 2019 combine.

Allison and Bell were both early entries for the NFL Draft, having announced their declarations to forgo their respective senior seasons in December, while Johnson, a senior, recently impressed at the East-West Shrine game in St. Petersburg, Fla.

The combine will take place at Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts, starting on Feb. 26 and will conclude on March 4. The NFL Network will provide coverage of the event, March 1-4, when the on-field portion of the combine takes place.

Tentative on-field workout schedule:
Friday, March 1: Specialists, offensive linemen, running backs
Saturday, March 2: Tight ends, quarterbacks, wide receivers
Sunday, March 3: Defensive line, linebackers
Monday, March 4: Defensive backs

A total of 14 players will represent the Mountain West, and the Bulldogs share the league lead with San Diego State for the most invites (3).

All of Fresno State's draft-eligible players will take part in Pro Day at Bulldog Stadium on Monday, March 18.
