Bulldogs return to action for pair of games in Rhode Island
FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State lacrosse team is back in action this weekend after a 12-day break. The Bulldogs travel to Rhode Island for a pair of games on the east coast this Friday and Sunday. The Bulldogs take on Bryant on Friday with a 1:00 p.m. PT start time, then head to face Brown on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. PT.

QUICK LOOK AT THE 'DOGS
Fresno State is 6-3 this season and coming off of back-to-back home wins against Radford and Quinnipiac.
DEFENDING 'DOGS
The Bulldogs have made a name for themselves on defense, cracking the top 20 in save percentage in the NCAA statistics in games played through March 26. The Fresno State defense ranks No. 14 in the country in save percentage with 123 saves for a .504 percentage on the season.
LAUREL: THE NATION'S LEADER
Fresno State junior goalkeeper Laurel Maunder currently leads the NCAA in saves per game, in games played through March 26.
Maunder has accumulated 13.44 saves per game to lead the country in the cage. Through only nine games, Maunder ranks fourth in the nation with 121 saves. The junior also checks in at No. 10 in the rankings in save percentage (.508).
SCORING SKALSTAD
Freshman Sydney Skalstad has been a major contributor to the Bulldog offensive game, scoring a team-high 22 goals this season.
Skalstad has been named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Rookie of the Week on four of seven occasions this season. Most recently, Skalstad led the team with 10 goals through three games with three against Virginia Tech and Radford, and four against Quinnipiac. In the same week, she also earned 17 draw controls for the Bulldogs.
WALLACE LEADING THE OFFENSIVE CHARGE
Fresno State junior Tiffiny Wallace currently leads the team with 21 goals, and is tied for first on the team with 10 assists. Her 31 points this season are a team-high, and she is currently fifth in the MPSF standings in points.

- Bryant is 4-4 this season.
- Bryant is coming off of a 15-8 loss at UConn on Mar. 26.
- Senior attacker Jess DeMeo leads the Bulldogs with 24 goals on the season. She has converted a team-high five free position shots on nine attempts.
- Senior midfielder Jasmine Perkins has caused a team-high 10 turnovers and scooped nine ground balls this season.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Giana Kapoosuzian has spent a majority of the time in the cage for Bryant with 77 saves in 395 minutes.
- DeMeo was named the Northeast Conference Co-Player of the Week for the week ending March 24 after putting up six goals and five ground balls for the Bulldogs.
SCOUTING BROWN
- Brown is 4-5 this season.
- Brown's most notable win is over No. 9 Princeton on March 23 when the Bears pulled off a 12-11 victory.
- Sophomore Risa Mosenthal was named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week twice this season.
- Mosenthal leads the team with 37 goals and six assists for 43 points this season.
- Mason Warble leads the Bears defensively with 17 caused turnovers and 23 ground balls.
- Erin Tucker has spent a majority of the minutes in the cage for Brown, chalking 82 saves in 525 minutes this season.
