Krats scores career-best in 18-12 win at Bryant
SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Fresno State lacrosse team picked up an 18-12 win at Bryant this afternoon. The Bulldogs improve to 7-3 on the season and head to Providence, R.I. for a matchup with Brown on Sunday.

Fresno State saw six different goal scorers for the third consecutive game. Sophomore Hannah Krats led the way offensively with a career-high six goals in the contest. Junior Tiffiny Wallace contributed four goals, while freshman Sydney Skalstad added three and junior Kayla Galet and senior Ryleigh Bone scored two a piece. Sophomore Lauren Kiszely scored her first goal of the season to round out the offensive tallies for the 'Dogs.

Junior keeper Laurel Maunder was strong in the cage yet again with 15 saves.

How it happened
Fresno State came out firing with five unanswered goals to open the game. Bone scored back-to-back goals in the first five minutes of play to get the offensive rally going for Fresno State. Skalstad scored next and Krats followed with two goals to give the 'Dogs a 5-0 lead with 19 minutes to go in the opening half.

Bryant's Caitlin Breglia snapped the scoring run, but Wallace added another for the 'Dogs on a free-position shot.

The teams traded goals for the remaining 12 minutes, but Bryant ended with a pair of goals in the final 43 seconds of the first half to cut Fresno State's lead to two at the half. The Bulldogs took a 10-8 lead at halftime.

Fresno State outscored Bryant 8-4 in the half to seal its win. The Bulldogs used a 6-0 run that was spread across a majority of the second half to propel themselves past Bryant.Â
