Alex Lee tabbed Mountain West Men’s Golfer of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Senior Alex Lee earned his first career Mountain West Men's Golfer of the Week award, announced by the league office on Wednesday.
Lee is coming off a week where he fired three consecutive rounds in the 60's at the SeattleU Redhawk Invitational at Chambers Bay. He earned a solo fourth place finish among 102 individuals.
Lee recorded scores of 67-68-68 to post a career-low 54-hole total of 10-under 203. The 203 tied for the seventh-lowest three-round score shot by a Bulldog since the 1993-94 season.
The senior's efforts help land Fresno State a second place finish at the event, the squad's best team finish of the season.
The Bulldogs return to action, April 12-14, for the El Macero Classic, hosted at El Macero Country Club by UC Davis. It will be Fresno State's final event before the Mountain West Championships, April 26-28.
