2019 home football schedule set

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Make your plans as dates are now set for the Fresno State football home schedule. The Mountain West announced its national television package for the 2019 football season on Thursday, which positioned the Bulldogs for five of their six home games on Saturday along with one Friday night game.
The Bulldogs' home game against UNLV was selected by CBS Sports Network and subsequently shifted to Friday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. Otherwise, the remainder of the home schedule stays put with the initial slate announced on Feb. 4.

In total, eight of the 10 possible Fresno State football games available to be chosen, subtracting the two nonconference road games that are determined by the host institution's respective conference, were picked up between CBS Sports Network and the ESPN networks on Thursday.
Five of those eight games have already set kickoff times, which includes hosting Minnesota on Sept. 7 (7:30 p.m. PT-CBSSN), a road game at Air Force on Oct. 12 (4 p.m. PT-CBSSN), the UNLV home game on Friday, Oct. 18 (7 p.m. PT-CBSSN), Utah State at Bulldog Stadium on Nov. 9 (4 p.m. PT-CBSSN) and Fresno State's only other Friday game, which is at San Diego State on Nov. 15 (6:30 p.m. PT-ESPN2).
The three contests that do not have kick times but were selected for a national telecast (Oct. 16 vs. Colorado State, Nov. 23 vs. Nevada and Nov. 30 at San Jose State) are selections made by ESPN and will be on one of its family of networks. Kick times and specific outlets for which ESPN Network will be determined during the course of the regular season. ESPN must alert the two schools associated no less than 12 days before the designated game day what time kick off will be and what platform it will be distributed on (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNEWS, ESPNU or ESPN3).
Thursday's announcement is the first of several announcements regarding telecasts and kick times with various MW television partners. Additional broadcasts by AT&T SportsNet, Spectrum Sports (Hawai'i), and Stadium will be announced in the coming months followed by one more round of picks made by CBS Sports Network and the ESPN networks. None of the additional selections made MW television partners will have the ability to change the date of the game. Fresno State will have to wait on the decision on game day and kick times for its two nonconference road games from the Pac-12 and FBS Independent New Mexico State, respectively.
