FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno State water polo head coach Natalie Benson announced the signing of Kaitlin Howarth for the 2019-20 season.
"We are excited to welcome Kaitlin to Fresno," Benson said. "Kaitlin brings a wealth of experience, and the solid ability to play both sides of the ball effectively to our team. She will help our team with depth, consistency, and raise the level of competition both in training and in games."
The Auckland, New Zealand native will join the program as a freshman with four years of eligibility. Howarth is currently a member of the North Harbor U21 club team and the North Harbor Senior Women team.
Howarth was the 2017-18 team captain of the North Harbor U18 and 2018 Rangitoto Premiere. She has chalked four all-tournament team awards, including the 2016 Hawai'i MVP. She also played for the New Zealand National Team in the 2017 Junior Worlds, 2018 Youth Worlds and 2019 Senior World League.
