Third Annual Kickoff Dinner set for August 23

FRESNO, Calif. – The Bulldog Foundation and Fresno State Athletics will host the Third Annual Football Kickoff Dinner and Fundraiser on Friday, Aug. 23 at the Fresno Convention Center. The fun-filled evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a social hour and silent auction, followed by dinner and a live auction at 7 p.m. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Football Fund for Excellence in supporting meals, nutrition, technology, recruiting and facility needs.

The master of ceremonies for the evening will be the voice of the Bulldogs, Paul Loeffler. He is the play-by-play announcer for Fresno State football, baseball, and men's basketball on 940 ESPN radio. He also hosts and produces the Hometown Heroes Radio Show as well as serving as Vice President for the Central Valley Honor Flight.

In addition, head coach Jeff Tedford and director of athletics Terry Tumey will serve as speakers during the evening.

"In 2019, we have high hopes to reach new potential and the support of the Red Wave is critical to our success and the pride and tradition of Bulldog Football," said Tedford. "Please join us as we kick off the 2019 football season at our Third Annual Football Kickoff Dinner and Fundraiser."
The silent auction during the cocktail hour will include signed NFL memorabilia and special packages from local businesses. The live auction will also include Coach for a Day, a Hawai'i Football Trip package for two, a Central Coast Wine Trip, an Alaskan fishing trip, and many more exciting items.

Title Sponsors this year are Valley Unique Electric, Gentile Real Estate, and Cen Cal Builders. Sponsor levels available for purchase are: Gold Table Sponsor at $10,000 (includes special magnum of wine and personalized jersey); Silver Table Sponsor at $5,000 (includes special magnum of wine and signed helmet); Bronze Table Sponsor at $2,500 (includes special magnum of wine and signed football); and Copper Table Sponsor at $1,250 (includes special bottle of wine). All sponsors will be included in program and video recognition. Individual dinner tickets are available for $75.
