NFL Bulldogs: Preseason Week No. 4

FRESNO, Calif. - The final week of the preseason came and went on Thursday as roster cutdowns happened on Saturday afternoon with six former Bulldogs making their respective teams' 53-man rosters. In addition, Charles Washington was claimed off waivers by the Arizona Cardinals and Cody Wichmann was placed on the reserve/injured list.
Week one of the regular season starts on Thursday evening with Davante Adams and the Green Bay Packers taking on the Chicago Bears at Solider Field.
WR Davante Adams (Green Bay Packers)
Adams did not play in the Packers' 27-20 win at home over the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday.
Green Bay travels to the Chicago Bears on Thursday evening to kick off week one of the regular season with a 5:20 p.m. PT contest on NBC.
Carr did not play in the Raiders' 17-15 loss at the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday.
The Raiders host the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football on Sept. 9 at 7:20 p.m. PT on ESPN.
Davison did not play in the Falcons' 31-12 win at the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday in the preseason finale.
The Falcons travel to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday in the regular season opener at 10 a.m. PT on FOX.
Johnson made four receptions for 19 yards on Thursday at the Denver Broncos in the Cardinals' 20-7 loss at Bronco Stadium at Mile High.
In four preseason games, the 2019 sixth-round selection has made 16 receptions for 171 yards.
Arizona hosts the Detroit Lions in week one of the regular season next Sunday at 1:25 p.m. PT on FOX.
Riley did not play in the Raiders' preseason finale at the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday finishing the preseason with three tackles, two solo, in three games.
The Raiders host the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football on Sept. 9 at 7:20 p.m. PT on ESPN.
S Derron Smith (Minnesota Vikings)
Smith saw action in his fourth preseason game on Thursday in the Vikings' 27-23 loss at the Buffalo Bills making three tackles, including two solo stops.
Despite making six tackles in the preseason, Smith was released by the Vikings on Friday.
OL Micah St. Andrew (Detroit Lions)
St. Andrew played in his fourth game of the preseason in the Lions' 20-16 loss at the Cleveland Browns totaling 204 yards in the contest.
St. Andrew was one of the Lions' released on Friday as the team cut down the roster to 53 players.
Washington made one solo tackle on Thursday in the Lions' 20-16 loss at the Cleveland Browns in the preseason finale.
Washington was released by the Lions on Saturday after three seasons with the team, but claimed off waivers by the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
Wichmann suffered an injury early in training camp and missed his fourth preseason game on Thursday in the Cowboys' 17-15 loss at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
On Saturday, Wichmann was placed on the reserve/injured list.
Wiggins did not play in the Lions' 20-16 loss at the Cleveland Browns in the preseason finale on Thursday after appearing in Detroit's first three games.
The Lions travel to the Arizona Cardinals next Sunday in week one at 1:25 p.m. PT on FOX.
