- Fresno State has suffered just six losses in its last 27 games.
- The offense is producing 29.0 points per game, which ranks T-71st best in the FBS ... but it ranks 12th best in the nation for teams that have played at least two Power 5 teams over the first three weeks of action.
- Fresno State suffered just its second home loss under Jeff Tedford last time out. The Bulldogs are 11-2 at home in the Tedford era.

- In their three previous meetings, the Bulldogs have not allowed the Hornets to score more than seven points in any game in the series.
- The Bulldogs have won each of their FCS meetings this decade by an average of 32.2 points per game.
- Of the 19 teams with at least seven turnovers gained, only two teams, Fresno State and Notre Dame, have played less than three games.
