FORT WORTH, Texas - The No. 4 Fresno State equestrian team earned a 10-9 Big 12 conference win at No. 7 TCU on Friday afternoon to move to 7-4 overall and 3-1 in conference meets this season. The Bulldogs picked up their first outright regular season win at TCU in the history of the program, and the first since a tiebreaker win in 2008.
Â
"Today was a nail-biter towards the end," said head coach Eric Hubbard. "The Flat team was very impressive in their rides today, even more impressive with us being on the road. A road win is always great, but a conference road win in the Big 12 is very big for us. We are going to carry this energy with us tomorrow against Baylor and aim to finish our weekend out high."
Â
The Bulldogs swept the Jumping Seat Most Outstanding Performer honors as sophomore Alivia Hart earned her first career Fences MOP with a 72-71 point. Senior Brooke Nelson picked up the Flat MOP with a 81-78 ride. This is Nelson's second honor of the season.
