Diamond 'Dogs in the Pros: Midseason Update

FRESNO, Calif. - With the major league regular season wrapping up one month from today on Sept. 27, five former Diamond 'Dogs continue to grind away at the regular season.
Aaron Judge (New York Yankees), Jordan Luplow (Cleveland Indians), Justin Wilson (New York Mets), Taylor Ward (Los Angeles Angels) and Jimmy Lambert (Chicago White Sox) have all seen action in the major leagues in the 2020 regular season.
After playing in the Yankees' first 17 games of the season, Judge was placed on the 10-day injured list on Aug. 14 and made his return to the starting lineup in right field on Wednesday in the second game a doubleheader at the Atlanta Braves.
Judge had a season-high three hits in four at-bats on Aug. 8 in a 8-4 win over the Tampa Bay Rays smacking a two-run home run and scored two runs. In 18 games this season, Judge is hitting .292 collecting 19 hits, including two doubles, nine home runs (tied for 12th in MLB), scored 16 runs and drove in 20 RBIs and has a slugging percentage of .738.
The Yankees are 16-11 overall and sit in second place in the American League East Division. With 33 regular season games remaining, New York will play 17 games at home and 16 contests on the road.
The Indians are 19-12 overall and tied for second in the AL Central with the Chicago White Sox. Cleveland has 29 games left on its regular season slate with 14 at home and 15 on the road.
He collected a win on his 33rd birthday on Aug. 18 in a 8-3 win at the Miami Marlins where he threw a season-high 1.1 innings and struck out two.
New York is 13-16 overall and sits in fourth place in the National League East. The Mets have 31 regular season contests left with 16 at home and 15 on the road.
The Angels are 10-22 overall and are in fifth place in the AL West. Los Angeles has 28 contests remaining with 16 at home and 12 on the road.
Finally, Lambert made his major league debut on July 25 in the White Sox's 10-3 win over the Minnesota Twins tossing one inning and struck out his first-ever batter, 2017 AL All-Star Miguel Sano.
The 2016 Mountain West Co-Pitcher of the Year also threw one inning on July 28 at the Cleveland Indians before going down with a forearm injury and was moved to the 45-day injured list on Aug. 3.
The White Sox are tied with the Indians for second in the AL Central at 19-12. Chicago has 29 games remaining with 16 on the road and 13 at home.

Wilson has appeared in 11 games in relief on the mound for the Mets posting a 1-1 record. In 8.2 innings of work, Wilson has allowed 12 hits, seven earned runs and struck out 11.
