'Dogs tied for third on Sunday

Fresno State shot 5-over-par in Sunday's first round of the Clash at Boulder Creek.
BOULDER CREEK, Nev. - The Fresno State women's golf team saw a solid start to the Clash at Boulder Creek, finishing the first round tied for third place. The Bulldogs shot a 5-over 293 just one stroke behind the second place team.

Senior Harriet Lynch led the Bulldogs on Sunday, shooting an even par 72 to break into the Top 10 at T9th. Transfer Nicola Kaminski shot 1-over (73) and finished T19th.

Lydia Volkmer and Jessica Hall each fired 2-over 75 to tie for 25th on Sunday. Freshman Yu Shang shot a 77 and is T53rd.
Participating in the event as an individual, Delana Basanisi is T75 with a first-round 79.

Fresno State returns to action with the second round at the NAU-hosted event at Boulder Creek Golf Club tomorrow morning with an 8 a.m. PT shotgun start. Live scoring is available here.
