McCarthy selected to All-Region Team

FRESNO, Calif. -- Coming off being named as the Mountain West's Defensive Player of the Year, Robyn McCarthy was selected to the United Soccer Coaches All-Pacific Region Team.
Starting the year in the midfield, the senior captain shifted to the back line late in the season opener due to injury and spent the remainder of the year there. McCarthy started all 19 matches at center back, playing 1,773 minutes. In conference play, she played all but two minutes for the 'Dogs.
McCarthy helped the Bulldogs' defense allow the third-lowest number of goals in the Mountain West. Offensively, she totaled three points on the year.
