'Dogs open Championships at the peak

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – Fresno State opened up the Championships at the Peak on Friday against a field that included many of the best programs throughout the West. The Bulldogs top finishes came from their throwers as Tahj'nee Thurston and Amelia DiPaola placed eighth and ninth in the weight throw.
Thurston was the lone Bulldog on the day to earn points in the meet after landing a mark of 16.53m/54-2.75. DiPaola finished with a toss of 16.37m/53-53-8.5.
Fresno State's throwers and jumpers will be back in action tomorrow along with its 4x4 relay team.
