Bulldogs tee off with Watney Invite

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State men's golf team will host the 2021 Nick Watney Invitational (spring edition) on Monday and Tuesday at Sunnyside Country Club.

The two-day, three-round event will begin on Monday at 7:50 a.m. PT. Live stats will be available at www.golfstat.com.

The tournament will be held for the 57th time this season after the inaugural Fresno State Classic was held in 1964 and the event was renamed the Nick Watney Invitational in the fall of 2014. The two-day affair returns to Sunnyside for the first time since 2017.

Due to current state guidelines, fans are not able to attend the tournament. All in-person activities are subject to approval from state, county and local officials.
