Stephenson earns MW weekly honors

Fresno State's Tommy Stephenson is also now ranked 15th in the nation in the latest GolfStat.com collegiate rankings.
LAS VEGAS - Fresno State junior Tommy Stephenson has been named the Mountain West Men's Golfer of the Week, the conference announced on Thursday afternoon.
This is Stephenson's first weekly conference honor of his career and he is now also ranked 15th in the nation in this week's latest GolfStat.com collegiate rankings.
Stephenson has finished in the Top 10 in each of his last four tournaments played, including all three this season.
Fresno State is next scheduled to compete March 29-30 in the 2021 Chambers, which is hosted by SeattleU at Chambers Golf Course.

- Earned first collegiate individual title at the 2021 Bandon Dunes Championship played on Bandon Trails Course.
- Carding an eight-under par, became the 21st Bulldog to win an event since 1995.
- Recorded a tournament-best 65 in the second round.
- For the week, tallied 15 birdies, including four in the final round.
