The Fresno State women’s tennis team earned its third straight victory by defeating CSUN 6-1 on Sunday.

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State women's tennis team soundly defeated the CSUN Matadors 6-1 on Sunday afternoon at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center.

For the second straight day, Fresno State (7-3) won all three doubles matches to earn the doubles point and the advantage heading into singles, where the Bulldogs won in straight sets in all five singles victories.

The victory is the third-in-a-row for Fresno State, who also won 4-3 at Cal State Fullerton on March 12 and opened the home weekend sweep with a 5-2 win over Santa Clara on Saturday.

With the win, the Bulldogs are now 5-1 at home this season.

Up Next: Fresno State will open Mountain West play at San Diego State on Saturday.
