- Fresno State is 22-7 (8-1 MW) and 4-4 on the road.
- Fresno State is coming off a midweek doubleheader sweep of Santa Clara. The Bulldogs earned two run rule victories, defeating the Broncos 9-0 in game one and 17-3 in game two. 17 runs is the most runs that Fresno State has scored since its 18-10 over UC Riverside in 2019.
- Fresno State sits at the top of the MW Standings tied with UNLV.
- Fresno State has won 20 out of its last 22 games.
- Fresno State leads the MW in 17 statistical categories.
- Fresno State owns a team ERA of 1.88.
- Fresno State owns a team batting average .295, and is averaging 6.28 runs per game.

- Dolcini tied the program record for most strikeouts in a 7 Inn. game with 18 in the 6-0 victory over New Mexico on April 2.Â

Dolcini, Mattson Sweep MW Weekly Honors
- The Fresno State softball team swept the Mountain West Weekly awards for the fourth time this season.
- Senior Hailey Dolcini was named Pitcher of the Week and freshman Keahilele Mattson was tabbed Player of the Week.
- Fresno State posted a 3-0 weekend, completing a series sweep over New Mexico including two shutouts. The Bulldogs improved to 8-1 in conference play.Â
- Dolcini went 2-0 in the circle for Fresno State, chalking a no-hitter and a perfect game. Through 12.0 innings of work, she recorded 30 strikeouts without allowing a hit or a walk. In the first game of the series, the senior right-handed pitcher tied the program record for most strikeouts in a seven-inning game with 18 to lead the Bulldogs to a 6-0 victory. The Ferndale, Calif. native capped off the series with her second perfect game of the season, marking the 17th perfect game in program history. She dished 12 strikeouts in the 14-0 run rule win. In her two appearances over the weekend, she retired 30 out of 36 batters by strikeout.
- This is Dolcini's fifth MW weekly award of the season and the 12th of her career.Â
- Mattson led the Bulldogs at the plate over the weekend going 4-for-9 (.444). The freshman recorded three multi-base hits including a home run. The Alta Loma, Calif. tabbed five RBIs over the weekend. Mattson started all three games in center field for the Bulldogs.
- This is Mattson's first MW weekly accolade of her career.
Mountain West Favorite
- The nine Mountain West softball head coaches chose Fresno State as the preseason favorite to win the 2021 regular season.
- The vote was unanimous as the Bulldogs tallied all eight first place votes, as head coaches are not allowed to vote for their own team, to total 64 total points.
- UNLV was picked to finish second (52 points, 1 first place vote) and San Diego State locked in third place (49 points) to round out the top three positions. Boise State (41 points) and San Jose State (38) were picked to finish in the middle of the conference standings, followed by Colorado State, Nevada, Utah State and New Mexico.
- This marked the first time the Bulldogs have been selected to win the conference since 2017. The last time the Bulldogs won the Mountain West title was in 2016, after going 22-1 in conference play.
