'Dogs picked fourth in preseason coaches' poll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Fresno State was picked to finish fourth in the Mountain West this fall according to the conference's Preseason Coaches' Poll which was released Wednesday morning. The Bulldogs were picked to finish in the same spot they were picked during the spring.
New Mexico (118), which won the conference championship in overtime over San Diego State, was picked to win the league while the Aztecs (111) were slotted behind them. Boise State was picked third (93), three points ahead of Fresno State (90). UNLV (77) rounded out the top five.
Fresno State finished the 10-game spring schedule with the third-best point total (19) in the conference while playing San Diego State, Boise State and UNLV twice. The 'Dogs were 6-3-1 during the shortened season.

Exhibition week
Fresno State will play two exhibitions prior to opening the regular season next week. The Bulldogs travel to Cal Poly tonight before returning home to host defending national champion Santa Clara on Saturday at 7 p.m. PT.
Season on the horizon
The Bulldogs open the season in Oregon, facing Oregon on Aug. 19 and Oregon State on Aug. 22. Fresno State will play two more road matches before before hosting Saint Mary's in its home opener on Sept. 5.
Tickets on sale now
2021 Bulldog soccer deposits are now available. Featuring eight home games this fall, season tickets are $42 for adults and $30 for youth (under 18) or seniors (65+). Single game tickets will be available starting on Aug. 12 with $7 for adults, $5 for youth and $4 for teams/groups. All tickets are general admission and will be delivered electronically.
