Fresno State will play its first matches of October this weekend. Following a 1-2 start in August, the Bulldogs lost just one of its six matches during September (2-1-3), a mark they're looking to build upon as the calendar flips.
During the first weekend of Mountain West play, six of the Bulldogs' nine points came from newcomers. The points included both goals in Fresno State's 2-1 win over Air Force and an assist on the on the game-tying goal against Colorado College.
Featuring eight home games this fall, 2021 Bulldog season tickets are $42 for adults and $30 for youth (under 18) or seniors (65+). Single game tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for youth and $4 for teams/groups. Two-game mini plans are available for $10. All tickets are general admission and will be delivered electronically.

HOME UNBEATEN STREAK PUSHES INTO 2021
Starting on Oct. 3, 2019, Fresno State has not lost at home, a stretch of 12 matches, passing the previous best of nine which was set under Brian Zwaschka during the 2010 and 2011 seasons.

TURNING THE CALENDARFresno State will play its first matches of October this weekend. Following a 1-2 start in August, the Bulldogs lost just one of its six matches during September (2-1-3), a mark they're looking to build upon as the calendar flips.

STARTING OFF RIGHT
Going 1-0-1 last week during the opening weekend of Mountain West play, Fresno State is off to its best start through two games since joining the league in 2012 (2-0-0).
- In the current format of two matches per weekend (started in 2013), Fresno State's highest point total through its first four conference games sits at 7 (2-1-1) in 2019.
LOOKING TO MAKE A RETURN
The Bulldogs are two matches into Mountain West play in which means every point going forward matters. In each of the last three seasons that saw a Mountain West tournament (2017, 2018, 2019), Fresno State has finished in the top six of the conference to earn a spot in the postseason tournament.

- The Bulldogs finished with 17 point twice and 18 points once.
- Last spring, the 'Dogs recorded 19 points while playing only five teams from the West Division (Boise State, Nevada, San Diego State, San Jose State and UNLV) though only the top team in each division made the championship match.

SCOUTING COLORADO STATE
- Colorado State enters the weekend 1-4-2 overall after dropping their first two matches of MW play last week in Fort Collins, Colo.
- The Rams have dropped three of their last four matches by an averaged score of 2-0 in those defeats. Sandwhiched in there though was a 6-0 win over Idaho State.
- The Rams have scored one goal on the year outside of its 6-0 rout of of the Bengals.
- Kristen Noonan leads the team with six points on three goals.
- Amanda Green has played every minute in goal for the Rams, holding a 1.07 goals against average with 35 and two shutouts.
- The Bulldogs are 5-1-2 all-time against Colorado State.
- While Fresno State has lost just once in nine matches with the Rams, the 'Dogs last win in the series came on Oct. 14, 2018.
- The Bulldogs have never dropped points versus the Rams in Fresno (4-0-0).
SCOUTING WYOMING
- The Cowgirls head to Fresno after splitting last weekend's matches to remain above .500 overall with a 5-4-1 record
- Wyoming is 2-4-1 in its last seven matches after opening the season 3-0.
- The Cowgirls have not played in a one-goal match since Sept. 2. They have lost three of those games by three or more goals.
- Jamie Tatum, Alyssa Bedard and Faith Joiner lead the team with three goals each. Tatum has four of their six assists.
- Alex Daws has started in goal for nine of Wyoming's 10 matches. She holds a 2.06 goals against average with 43 saves.
SERIES HISTORY
- The Bulldogs and Cowgirls are as even as its gets all-time with a 3-3-3 series record.
- Fresno State won the last meeting between the teams, a 2-0 victory on Oct. 13, 2019 in Laramie. Prior to that, the 'Dogs had not picked up a win in the series since Oct. 6, 2012.
