FRESNO, Calif. -- Fresno State returns to the pitch on Thursday evening, hosting UC Santa Barbara at 7 p.m. PT at the Fresno State Soccer Stadium. It is the second of three straight home matches for the Bulldogs.

While Fresno State entered the season with a very experienced group, the 'Dogs brought in an abundance of talent in their nine-member freshman class. That group has already seen significant minutes through the first five games of the season.
 Featuring eight home games this fall, 2021 Bulldog season tickets are $42 for adults and $30 for youth (under 18) or seniors (65+). Single game tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for youth and $4 for teams/groups. All tickets are general admission and will be delivered electronically.

HOME UNBEATEN STREAK PUSHES INTO 2021

- The middle eight games during the unbeaten stretch was a program-long eight match home win streak.
- Fresno State has three shutouts during the streak which includes a 0-0 draw last time out versus Saint Mary's.
GETTING DEFENSIVE
Since returning from its trip to Oregon, Fresno State has has allowed one goal in its last three matches. During that span, Bulldog keepers have faced only eight shots on goal, one less than the trio saw in the opener at Oregon.

- Ella Wilson played 245 of the 290 minutes during the the three games, allowing one goal and producing six saves. The freshman also saved a penalty kick and stopped a breakaway in the final minutes versus Saint Mary's to help preserve a draw.
- The center back pairing of Robyn McCarthy and Jordan Lau played 535 of a possible 580 minutes together, helping sure up the defense in front Wilson.Â

EXPERIENCED INTERNATIONAL
There's no substitute for high-level experience. Ella Wilson has been playing at a high level since 17 when the now-20-year-old made her debut in the Swedish second division with her club, Västerås BK30. During her youth, she has been a member Sweden's national program in both soccer and futsal.

- Wilson made her first career start in goal for the 'Dogs in their second game, less than two weeks after arriving in Fresno. A week later, the 5-foot-11 keeper earned her first shutout.
- During her last three outings, the freshman has a 0.37 goals against average.
FORMER 'DOG EARNS NATIONAL TEAM CALL-UP
Sitting fifth in program history career points, Myra Delgadillo's career reached a new milestone earlier this week. The 25-year-old, who currently plays professionally in Portugal with SC Braga, earned her first call-up with the Mexico Women's National Team. She is one of four forwards on the roster for the team's upcoming friendly with Colombia on Sept. 21.Â

SCOUTING UCSB
- The Gauchos head into Thursday's contest with a 1-2-2 record, coming off a 2-2 draw at Oregon on Sept. 3.
- They have not won a match on the road this season, holding a 0-1-2 mark away from Santa Barbara.
- UCSB has scored four goals on the year with all four coming from a different player. Each assist has also come from a different player.
- Alyssa O'Brien leads the Gauchos with three points (1G/1A).
- UCSB has outshot its opponents 61-53 with 29-26 edge on frame.
- Evann Smith has started all five games in goal for the Gauchos, holding a 1.15 goals against average. The junior goalkeeper has 18 saves and two shutouts.
