Bulldogs selected ninth in MW preseason poll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Fresno State's women's basketball team was picked to finish ninth in the Mountain West's 2022 Preseason Poll which which was released by the conference on Wednesday morning.Â
Fresno State is coming off a year in which it finished eighth in league play with a 7-10 record and was 11-18 overall. The Bulldogs will have a bit of new look this year with the addition of six new players, four freshman and two transfers. On of those transfers will be a fifth-year senior to go along with the other four fifth-year seniors that were previously on the roster.
Reigning regular-season and tournament champions UNLV were picked to win the league, garnering 26 of 28 total first-place votes. New Mexico, Colorado State, Wyoming and San Diego State round out the top five.
