The Breakdown

Fresno State travels to the Mountain West Championships set for Wednesday through Saturday in College Station, Texas.
The 'Dogs are coming off a sixth-place finish at last year's MW Championships.
Junior Athena Clayson has won the MW title in the 100 & 200 Back in each of the last two seasons.

Bulldog Bones

Athena Clayson (100 Back & 200 Back), Darina Khisiamova (400 IM), Eydis Osk Kolbeinsdottir (1650 Free), Mackenzie Hutler (100 Fly), Samarah Melia (500 Free), Yuliya Tykha (1-Meter, 3-Meter, Platform) & Silvia Alessio (1-Meter & 3-Meter) all return after earning All-MW honors in 2021.
The 'Dogs went 4-1 in dual action this season with wins over CSU Bakersfield, Pepperdine, UC Davis & San Jose State.
The Bulldogs defeated San Jose State, 157-140 on Jan. 29 in their final regular season action and set 29 season-best times/marks against the Spartans.

'Dogs at the Mountain West Championships

The Bulldogs will compete in their 10th Mountain West Championships this week.
The 'Dogs finished in sixth at the MW Championships last season in Las Vegas with 829 points.
Fresno State's best finish at the MW Championships came in 2019 where they took fifth with 781.5 points.
This will be the third time in the last seven years the MW Championships have been held in College Station.
Clayson won the 100 & 200 Back in each of the last two seasons while Khisiamova won the 1650 Free in 2020.
