Magrini receives second MW honors

Fresno State's Matilde Magrini earned MW Freshman of the Week honors for the second time this season.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Fresno State freshman Matilde Magrini was named the Mountain West Freshman of the Week, the conference office announced on Wednesday.
This is Magrini's second career conference weekly honor.
Magrini has helped lead the Bulldogs to a 5-1 start, which included strong play at No. 2 singles last Friday in the Bulldogs' 4-3 road win at BYUÂ on Feb 11.
Fresno State is hosting San Francisco on Friday afternoon, with doubles action starting at 2 p.m. PT.

- With the win, Magrini is now 5-1 this season at No. 2 singles.
- Magrini is also 2-1 when playing at No. 2 doubles.
