FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State softball team fell to UCF 10-2 on Wednesday night at Margie Wright Diamond.
HOW IT HAPPENED
UCF plated four runs in the opening frame to take an early lead. Fresno State got on the board with one run in bottom of the second.
The Knights had a solo run in the top of the fourth to make it a 5-1 game. The 'Dogs put themselves within striking distance with a run in the bottom of the fifth.
UCF secured the win outscoring Fresno State 5-0 in the final two innings. The Knights take the midweek victory 10-2.
