FRESNO, Calif. - The Las Vegas Raiders made it official on Friday, acquiring wide receiver Davante Adams via a trade with the Green Bay Packers. As a part of the trade terms, Las Vegas will send the Packers the team's first- and second-round selection in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Adams is now reunited with his college quarterback Derek Carr at the professional level.
Adams and Carr stand as one of Fresno State's most electric QB-WR duos as each of them set program records throughout their time together as Bulldogs in 2012 and 2013. The duo led Fresno State to a 20-6 record in two seasons, including Mountain West titles in both 2012 (co-champions) and 2013 (champions).
Adams and Carr were both drafted in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Carr, the 36th overall pick, went to the then-Oakland Raiders while Adams, the 53rd overall pick, was drafted to Green Bay.

Adams set the Mountain West record for most receiving yards by a freshman with 1,312 yards receiving in 2012 - enough for the sixth-most in a season in program history. Adams is fourth all-time with 3,030 receiving yards in his career (2012-13).
He also holds the program record with 38 receiving touchdowns in his career, all from Carr. Adams' 38 touchdowns scored in his career also remain as the Mountain West record. He holds the longest streak in program history with 11 games of scoring at least one receiving touchdown. He also has the second-longest streak of nine games.
Adams holds the Fresno State record with 13 100-yard receiving games in his career.
Adams with the Green Bay Packers
Adams joined the Raiders after eight seasons with the Packers, helping lead Green Bay to six postseason appearances. The Packers' second-round (53rd overall) pick in 2014, is a five-time Pro Bowler (2017-21) and two-time Associated Press All-Pro First Team selection (2020-21). He appeared in 116 games with 109 starts, recording 669 receptions for 8,121 yards with 73 touchdowns. In 11 career postseason games, Adams has posted 72 catches for 910 yards with eight touchdowns. The 6-foot-1, 215-pound wide receiver leaves Green Bay as one of the top wide receivers in franchise history, ranking second in receptions, fourth in receiving yards and second in receiving touchdowns.
In 2021, Adams set a franchise single-season record with both 123 receptions and 1,553 receiving yards, adding 11 receiving touchdowns. Adams holds the club's top-two single-season performances by a receiver, tallying 123 receptions in 2021 and 115 in 2020. Additionally, his 18 receiving touchdowns in 2020 tied for the first in franchise history.
Carr in the Fresno State record books
Carr left Fresno State as the program's all-time leading passer, throwing for 12,842 yards (2009-13). He threw for an NCAA-leading, and Fresno State and Mountain West record 5,082 yards in 2013.
Carr also holds records at Fresno State in career pass completions (1,086), career passing attempts (1,630), career pass completion percentage (.666, 1086-of-1630), career touchdown passes (113), most career games with four or more touchdown passes (14), most games with five or more touchdown passes (8), most 300-yard passing games in a career (20), most games with 400 yards passing in a career (11), and most games with 500 yards passing in a career (3).
Carr is one of just seven Fresno State quarterbacks to throw for 3,000 yards in a single season, but the only Bulldog QB to do it three times in his career (2011, 2012 & 2013).
