Fall Academic All-MW honorees named

Fresno State had 84 student-athletes represented as academic All-Mountain West honorees.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Mountain West announced on Wednesday its selections for the 2021 Fall Academic All-Mountain West honors. The conference office announced 829 honorees from around the league, and Fresno State had 84 selections.

To be eligible for 2021 Fall Academic All-Conference honors, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and must have competed in 50 percent of the team's completed varsity contests.
NOTE: Some latitude was permitted to accommodate those student-athletes who were injured and unable to compete in the required number of contests.

Football led the way with 38 selections, women's soccer added 20, volleyball had 11, women's cross country had nine and men's cross country added six.Â
