Fresno State Athletics is celebrating its centennial year and the 2021-22 men's basketball season is the 100th season of competition in program history.
Fresno State head coach Justin Hutson is in his fourth season back home in the San Joaquin Valley.
Fresno State earned a postseason appearance for the 25th time in program history (first since 2017).
This will be the first-ever meeting between Fresno State and Youngstown State in men's basketball.

OPENING TIP

Fresno State will host Youngstown State on Wednesday at 7 p.m. PT at the Save Mart Center in the quarterfinals of The Basketball Classic, presented by ERACISM.
Fresno State is second in the MW and ranks third in the nation in scoring defense (59.0 ppg allowed).
Fresno State limited its opponents to fewer than 70 points in 30 of its 33 games during the 2021-22 season.

ROBINSON'S PRODUCTION COMPARES TO THE BEST IN COLLEGE BASKETBALL

Through games played on March 19, Fresno State junior forward Orlando Robinson was ranked sixth in KenPom's 2022 Player of the Year Standings with a 1.331 kPOY rating (2nd nationally in Game MVPs: 19).
With 1,359 career points, Orlando Robinson (19.5 ppg/8.1 rpg) enters the game tied in 18th on the Bulldogs' all-time scoring list and needs just two points to tie Paul Watson for 17th (1,361), 19 points to tie Mike McFerson for 16th (1,378) and 41 points to become the 16th player to score 1,400 points in program history.
Robinson was named to the Mid-Season Watch List for the 2021-22 Lute Olson National Player of the Year.
Robinson was named to the Midseason Team for the 2022 Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy Player of the Year.
Robinson earned 2021-22 All-MW first team honors from both the coaches and a select MW media panel.
Robinson, a Las Vegas native, was also a 2021-22 preseason All-MW selection and earned 2020-21 second-team All-MW, NABC All-District honors, CoSIDA Academic All-District and MW Scholar Athlete honors.
