Jessica Hall earns her first career Mountain West Golfer of the Week honor.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Fresno State senior golfer Jessica Hall has been named the Mountain West Women's Golfer of the Week, the conference office announced on Thursday. The senior Bulldog earns the first weekly honor by the conference in her career.
Hall picked up the MW Women's Golfer of the Week honor after a T6th finish of 107 golfers at the Chamber's Bay Invitational this week. She shot a 5-over-par, scoring a 221 (72-71-78) this week. She picked up her second Top 10 finish of the year this week, and seventh Top 10 finish of her career.
Battling through severe weather with rain, wind, and cold temperatures, Hall managed to remain in the Top 10 individually throughout the course of the tournament.
Hall led the Bulldogs to a fifth place finish at Chambers Bay. The Bulldogs have five Top 5 team finishes this season, and have earned two straight heading into the conference championship next week.
The Witton Le Wear, England native is the eighth Bulldog to earn the weekly honor from the conference in program history.
Fresno State will tee off at the 2022 Mountain West Championship next week. The conference championship tournament takes place April 18-20 at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
