Sutherland in 6th after round one

DAVIS, Calif. – The Fresno State men's golf team sits at two strokes over par after day one of the El Macero Classic at the El Macero Country Club on Wednesday.
After 18 holes, Fresno State's Matthew Sutherland is three strokes under par, leaving him tied for 6th place out of 84 total competitors from 14 universities. Sutherland won the 2021 El Macero Classic to capture his first collegiate medalist honors.
The Bulldogs will go into day two tied at 10th place with two strokes over par.
The event will continue Thursday at 8:30 a.m. P.T and live stats can be found at GolfStat.com.
