No. 8 Bulldogs earn 19-7 road win

Fresno State extended its winning streak to 12 with a 19-7 win at APU on Friday.
GLENDORA, Calif. – The No. 8-ranked Fresno State women's water polo team defeated Azusa Pacific Cougars 19-7 on Friday at the Citrus Aquatic Center.
Fresno State (15-7, 6-0 Golden Coast Conference) has now won its last 12 contests and gives the Bulldogs an opportunity to secure an outright Golden Coast Conference championship with a win on Saturday at LMU.
How it happened: Brooke Ochoa led Fresno State with four goals, and also added an assist, for a total of five points in the rout of APU.
Five other Bulldogs also had multiple goals as Emily Nicholson, Savannah Fitzgerald, Fanni Muzsnay, Jillian Schultz and Kelsey McKenney each had two goals.
Fresno State's Paula Nieto Jasny had eight saves in the match.
The 'Dogs scored the first three goals, then built a 7-1 lead and never trailed in the wire-to-wire victory.
